I thought of this, but I will need to add 3.3v regulator in that case & will need advanced front face to be able to mount the usb connector.

Those are nice but only one color. After seeing his two- color ones that's what I want - LOL,

Not to sure I would like a Chinese AC - DC converter wired to my mains supply without a Fuse!

I think you need to tweak your board-work to accommodate this.

Can't agree more, I will modify my next board and add a fuse for safety.
