Recently managed to finish building my own IR universal remote, with a temp and light sensor after getting my boards back from OSHPark. Its based on the ESP-12E chip. The board also has the rest of the pins exposed so could be used for other
Haven't written any real code for it yet, but the goal will be homie + mqtt as a bi-directional IR hub for home automation. I have managed so far to receive an IR signal, decode it and resend it successfully. Have also tested the temperature sensor but I havent got a light sensor as yet to test that too (was designed with a temt6000 in mind).
