I suspect the mqtt code might not be included in the precompiled bins?

All features are included in the precompiled binaries. Try the "show mqtt" command from the console to see its status with the connected clients, subscribed topics and retained publications.

There maybe some dependencies before this show command works or the mqtt code is missing from the bin files

Tried signing on to SSID:MyAP PW:none [open] IP:192.168.4.1 with android browser. The android says it is connected to MyApp
The browser says net err connection refused and the esp says
