Yeah I powered it from 3.3v by bypassing the regulator. I'll have to try doing the normal 5V and see if I get any better results.

I have been using this project and recently noticed that the dropbox files went missing. I found a cache that had them and have uploaded them to imgur. below are the image files for the schematic

sadly now the images are missing, probably because you moved them out of your dropbox.
could you be so kind and put them back online?

i saw this post with images and basically i remember how to connect ch_pd to the gpio and the switch, i just want to be perfectly sure that i am doing it right ..
