IFTTT Smart Button

Hey guys, just sharing some of my weekend fun trying to do an "Amazon Dash" clone but even more useful with IFTTT

The key features are:
    Energy efficient
    OTA wifi configuration
    IFTTT, but in reality you can GET/POST to anywhere

Hello there,

Could you explain to me why did you put this diode? Just for voltage reduction or something? Couldn't you just plug the button directly ? Thank you :)

How the hell does this work? Two batteries = 3V. You need at least 3.3V to power ESP8266 AFAIK.

One should read a datasheet you may find It will operate at 3v.
