issue about E-TOUCH's smartconfig set up (security of SSID)

There is a smart_config function for connecting ESP8266 devices easily. I was wondering about how the SSID and password actually encoded into the UDP packet to be sent and broadcast since it only mentioned in the E-TOUCH user guild about it and it only states "encodes the SSID and password into the Length field of a sequence of UDP packets".

I want to know more about how it works because I'm considering about the security problem of router info. obtained by hackers.
