Hi,
Our Chinese friends can now use affordable screens e-paper
https://fr.aliexpress.com/item/296x128-2-9inch-E-Ink-display-module-SPI-interfac-Without-PCB-Communicate-via-SPI-interface-Supports/32811712396.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.toQ7E2

But there are no libraries for esp8266, just for arduino, stm and raspberry

Can anyone devote themselves?
I can't
:-(

I like it. Am really tempted to take it up but right now I am very involved in another project which I depend upon for sustenance.
I imagine a bigger screen can be very much used to beam pdfs etc. on our phones and our PCs to our hands. And the phone can act as a interface for scrolling and jumping around pages and content. But I feel bluetooth is more appropriate for this use rather than wifi.

Hi,

I just got my 1.54" waveshare e-paper module delivered and adapted their arduino lib for esp8266.
Should work on avr and esp8266, see epdif.h for pinout.

have fun,
