[PROBLEM] Connecting ESP8266 with MAC

I just switched from a Windows PC to a MAC. I have the ESPlorer running; however, I cannot find my device to connect too. I was able to find it on my Windows machine before switching. Does anyone have some troubleshooting steps or an idea of how to find it and connect?
