- Fri Dec 25, 2015 11:42 pm #37141 Any esp module can be flashed with custom firmaware. The arduino environment is popular. There is a java script engine. Basic. Lua.

The at commands I found to be difficult plus it requires an external microcontroller . but you can use any thing you want.

I will be using a pic microcontroller to gather data from a variety of sensors.
I need a simple/cheap way to transfer this data to another microcontroller in the world.
sort of like a wireless rs232 connection between two microcontrollers.

I created a huge tutorial to use ESP8266, but only in portuguese.
