ESP-01 + Arduino IDE for ESP + Serial LCD = One Way Chat
Posted: Tue May 26, 2015 8:05 amThanks to the awesome Arduino IDE for ESP, it was very easy to create a website to take in an input string and display it on a 9600 baud Serial LCD module that I found in my parts bin.
The ESP-01 is running the whole show, no Arduino!
Not sure how long I would keep this running, but here it is in real life. UStream has about 4 second streaming delay, the ESP itself is very responsive.
