Simple.

This can be used to control any thing from air conditioners to patio lights.

The same circuit minus the extension cord could be hooked up to light fixtures.

Its pretty universal.

OK, with some indication of its use ,its then interesting enough for me to go look at your website, which I don't do willy nilly, because I like to avoid possible viruses .

Now that device is useful and I suggest you perhaps do a bit better write up here to tell people why and how .
Its daunting in its use of mains power as we are on 240V here and that kills. At the same time, it is powered by the appliance you are switching and requires no batteries and that, in itself , is useful.

The code is in Lua which I don't know, but I might try to do it in Arduino IDE , after all it must switch a 3.3V pin to turn the SSR(solid state Relay) on . So it is reading a value from the URL and deciding what the state should be . I would probably add another pin to sense if it is, in fact, on or not ,to tell me if the bulb/fan/whatever blows.

Thanks for the project
Here is another similar complete with a wowser too. Gotta have one of those hey!
