My first escursiojn into controlling mains electricty. It went like a dream. I've used a mains voltage table lamp pointing at a temperature sensor to model my heating system. The sensor fits nicely where the thermostat currently is. It works perfectly, but I would need to implement some security & safety features before I'd install it and walk away with it running 24/7.
