ESP8266 Community Forum

- Sun Jan 15, 2017 9:07 am #61049 My final goal will be to send data with TCP/IP from a PLC to an esp8266. The communication part on the PLC does allready exist. Thats why im currently try to test to send data with a terminal (hercules or putty) to the ESP8266.

The esp8266 is up and running as a server.
1. Is it possible to send data from a hercules or putty?
2. I have found many examples with webserver. But that does not help me.
