use RTS & CTS WITH ESP8266 and max232
Posted: Sun Mar 19, 2017 12:37 amhow can I get RTS & cts signals wired between the ESP8266 and a MAX232 in order to achieve faster baudrates when connecting vi AT commands?
RTS/CTS are not related to baudrate, it is hardware handshake instead of software handshake.
Handshaking are require when your device attached to ESP is busy doing some thing else while serial is received from ESP, what ever the baudrate choosen, it could occurs even at 9600 baud.
What is your device attached ?
