Im not sure if I'm going in the right direction. i want to use the 8266 as a wifi bridge for my arduino uno. I managed to flash the NODEMCU firmware onto the chip and program it to connect to the wifi.
So all I need to do is connect tx to rx and rx to tx from arduino to ESP and the arduino will use the esp to reach the network?
