ESP32 quick question

i bought online an esp-13 and an esp32 recently, still waiting to get them. i found out that the esp-13 uses the esp8266 and the esp32 is an other chip on its own.. i just want to be sure if they both works the same way regarding everything i can find on this site (flashing instructions, web editor interface, basic language ref, etc)
