red light flashes on once when plugged in and then stays off

- Fri Jul 15, 2022 11:30 am #94936 I've tried plugging an esp32 and an esp8266 into my laptop, and a separate mains usb socket with multiple different cables. Every time, the red LED flashes once, then turns off and stays off

if I press the reboot button, it does the same again.

What could be causing this? Is it a voltage issue?
