Additional GPIOs on esp8266 -12

Hello everyone

I am using Esp8266 -12 model..I am falling short of GPIOs. I have read somewhere that some of the pins like MISO, MOSI,CS0 , etc can also be used as GPIOs. Has anybody tried it ?

I'm no expert but according to the following drawing they can be used as GPIO:
