#59953 I'm a new user of ESplorer, and since Java hasn't been been installed on my machine am I forced to use the Java version published by Orcale which is 8.2 . Java 7 is not available at all. But when I open the ESplorer project in Netbeans then I get an error message saying that 'Java Secure Socket Extension' ('JSSE') is not available. I've tried to load 'jsse-1_0_3_04-do' without success.
Does anyone have an idea how to build ESplorer on a freshly installed Windows machine?

#60332 For security reasons. No offence, but how do I know that the binary doesn't contain some hidden code that does something unexpected. It wouldn't be the first time in history this happens

#60380 Ahh, I see... definitely not the worst of ideas.
There was a PR for ESPlorer to migrate to Maven which unfortunately was closed (https://github.com/4refr0nt/ESPlorer/pull/15). That would have made building a whole lot easier. However, looking at the big pile of spaghetti code that is ESPlorer structuring it the Maven way would only have been a means to an end ;-)
