ESP8266 Community Forum

- Wed May 04, 2016 10:44 am #46877 I have installed the Esplorer app on my W7 PC and have flashed the Wemos Node MCU module.
when I try to Save to ESP I get a couple errors. I have attached a screen shot to illustrate the errors.

Any help appreciated...

- Wed May 04, 2016 4:35 pm #46892 1) Ensure you use the right ftdi driver (there are some issues with some versions)
2) Ensure your ESP has enough power (ideally power it from a different source than the USB connected to your PC)
3) Check your cables & clean the connections

There is no other way to power and program other than USB.
The connections are good because I can upload the esp8266 firmware and I can also use the arduino ide and I don't have any issues. I only seem to have this issue with the esplorer software.
