With the image form the latest official build from master branch, I'm seeing node.readvdd33() is crashing the system and causing resets. According to some other discussions, it seems there is a fix in dev96 branch, but I'm still seeing resets, it's happening less but definitely not completely fixed. Any idea what's happening?

Just saw this post - I have seen the same problem.
When the ESP is in wifi.STATION mode the readvdd33() will crash/reset.
Changing to wifi.STATIONAP mode makes it work.
I have no idea why.
Now my router/ environment is chock full of "ESP" access points.
