Posted: Thu Jul 23, 2015 9:58 pmI've upgraded my ESP01 successfully too. I wish to upgrade my ESP03 too, but it looks like pads are a bit smaller than ESP01, I don't know if 200mils SMT will fit ... Anyone did it ?

You should be able to solder the chip. See posts #21758 & #21760
