First steps with LUA (help needed)

I cannot find any information how to execute a selfmade script. I can see file.open(), but how can I transmit the file via serial?

You could use a terminal program such as CoolTerm. However, there are now alternatives.
Peter Scargillhas been continuously improving his Serial Terminal.
I've also made one I call Lua Uploader.
There are others as well, try looking under tools in this forum.
