Hello,

I have tried the methods mention and able to flash successfully to the ESP8266. But after I reduce the wire and connect it to the led from this website http://www.arduinesp.com/blink. The led doesn't blink. Can I check if I have done anything wrong?

Thanks

Hello :)

I'm just a hobbiest but I wouldn't use the ESP without a regulated (noise free) 3.3v supply. Also make sure you have a resistor in front of the LED.

I have get just the same error message when trying to flash an ESP-01. The connections are the same as indicated by Barnabybear, even with two capacitors (0.1uF and 10uF). This module was working well and I could flash it with the Arduino IDE 1.6.5 before, but now I get that error message. Is it possible that there is something wrong in my ESP-01? I have been trying with a regulated voltage IC, LM317, and maybe I did something wrong  . Now I am using a PC power supply, conecting the 3.3V (orange) and 0V (black) cables. This power supply is showing 3.4V in my multimeter.
