I do not get Arduino compiling code for the ESP8299:

I tried already it with different Arduino-versions:
- Arduino: 1.6.4
- Arduino: 1.6.5
- Arduino: 1.6.7

And all three several times with version 1.6.5-947-g39819f0 and with version 2.0.0. In between I wiped everything, but no success

None of the installation brought the missing file.

Any suggestion on how to fix this issue?

- Thu Mar 17, 2016 4:58 am #43387 I had a similar problem with XP and IDE 1.6.8.
After a portable Installation like http://www.instructables.com/id/Portabl ... /?ALLSTEPS it works.
In a Windows 10 environmet the standard installation works without problems.
