ESP8285 SLP (QFN) What is the advantage? I was thinking about replacing the 25Q40 with a 25Q64 or 25Q128 but by using the ESP8285 your limited to 25Q80 (8Mbit) 1MB (1 megabyte) and they are not cheap ($2.79 Ebay) I placed an order for 1000 on Alibaba and with the discount they show $-199.00 USD so they will have to pay me $199.00 for the order, love Alibaba. The ESP8285 has a package type of SLP, seems China was not happy with QFN so they have created a new package type that isn't registered with anybody I can find (JEP95).
