J4 is a 3-pin connector that allows for easy connection of other I2C peripherals, if needed. It is also a handy spot to connect an oscilloscope or analyzer for debugging I2C.

Hi, below is the schematic for the PCA9685 switching 16 channels with FETs. Not as neat as Gregry's and the FET symbol is incorrect but I needed to get it off to China as theres a 6 week turnround on the board manufacture at the moment. It's to control RGB strip for Christmas lighting.
