In the case of 400Hz I would expect that to work, trying to get 8,000,000Hz to work, well that on a 80Mhz part allows 10 cycles and that is just not going to happen, even on a part doing almost nothing else it is hard!

I am sure someone has answers maybe why the 400Hz is failing.

I've had very similar watchdog failures.
It was software related for me, the Blynk package and how to engage with the server.
By doing my processing and then linking to the server, I sidestepped the instability . . .
