I'm very interested. Keep on posting! I finally flashed my esp with a simple blink sketch but I'm heading in the same direction as you.

So I picked up some
ESP-12 modules, and made a quick and dirty breakout board:
The code on my
github works with it, so now I'll be working on a new, smaller board.

Its hard to see on the board, are they optocouplers or transistors on the board? Thx!
