I think some of the guru's here should pick this up and roll with it. The vs1053 module looks great as a solution to reproduce audio from I2S let's hope someone picks this up and makes some positive progress.

- Thu Nov 05, 2015 5:09 am #33107 Seems like I got it working using the file reflag2k was kind enough to provide. But my "solution" is far from perfect explanation wise. I commented in some debug output the actually debug the buffer problem and the hick ups are gone...don't ask me why. I only got 1 short stutter shortly after booting and it's been playing flawlessly for the last 10-15 minutes or so.

EDIT: It worked fine for about an hour and then suddenly stopped. Maybe it got disconnected from the server. Gonna run some more tests...

BTW: Does anyone have a recommendation what speakers i could attach to the little thing? Also I will try to control the device using MQTT (control volume change/load stations )
