#56507 Hi
I found this sketch:
its goes very good on my nodeMCU.
I just want to add in the HTML page the date, and when I press the button print in same page, that the led is ON/OFF.
Can some one help me to add this on this sketch

Code: Select all/*
 * ESP8266 Web server with Web Socket to control an LED.
 *
 * The web server keeps all clients' LED status up to date and any client may
 * turn the LED on or off.
 *
 * For example, clientA connects and turns the LED on. This changes the word
 * "LED" on the web page to the color red. When clientB connects, the word
 * "LED" will be red since the server knows the LED is on.  When clientB turns
 * the LED off, the word LED changes color to black on clientA and clientB web
 * pages.
 *

#56534 Hi
I found an parcial solution, sorry im new whit javascript.

In HTML create a textfile.
Code: Select all<input id="textField1" type="text" value=" " align="right" size="13"/><br>

in function start() :
get the textfield properties
Code: Select alloutput_text = document.getElementById("textField1");

On each event:
Code: Select allvar state= "LED is ON"
      output_text.value=state;

I tried to make the same to h1 object but the property value does not exist.
im now checking how to create h1 whit:
Code: Select all<div id ="output"></div>
var x = document.createElement("h1");

Please any suggestion is welcome.
