ESP8266 Community Forum

Hi,

i try to load on Arduino example WifiScan but i've have this error:

warning: espcomm_sync failed
error: espcomm_open failed
error: espcomm_upload_mem failed
error: espcomm_upload_mem failed

I try other example but i receive same error!

Can i try to solve problem?

Which ESP board are you using ?
If you are using plain ESP module along with USB-TTL dongle, make sure to have GPIO15 pulled-down, GPIO2 pulled-up and GPIO0 pulled-down as well.
What kind of power supply are you using ?
Improper power supply could also lead to such error ...
