JayEmSydneys solution improved the functioning of my DHT11 a lot but still ahd a few read errors every now and then, butthis fix appears ho have solved it completely

Hey. Don't know if anyone's still having this problem, but I was going a little nutty myself. Turns out, if you buy the Sainsmart or Adafruit versions of the DHT11, the data pin is on the left and the power pin is in the middle, which goes against a lot of the docs I've seen. Basically, if the sensor is soldered onto a little board with 3 pins coming out, swap your wiring so data is on the left and power is in the middle and you'll be a lot happier.
