Been playing with the arduino esp project - wow - I'm impressed.
Just spent literally 5 minutes getting the rc-switch library to work - basically downloaded it, started up an example sketch - changed the pin number for the transmitter - and it just worked!!
I mean the rc-switch library that controls power sockets - see here: https://code.google.com/p/rc-switch/
