Problem cloning git repository

Hi,
when I try and clone the repository I get an error:
Cannot download 29de76583db35b4236927794ca0d23d450cbe04c
Any ideas?

What repository are you trying to clone, and from where (Github / git.spritesserver.nl) ? I don't seem to have any problems accessing either.

Ok, maybe it was a bad internet connection as I now managed to get it.
So now HELP!!!
I've been programming for years in C and various other languages but not using Eclipse and GIT - I need some help!
I have Eclipse Mars 1 release installed along with CHERTS dev kit - it all works and I can build/program etc. my chips.
But what do I need to do (step by step please!!!) to import the esphttpd and libesphttpd into Eclipse, get them to build without a gazillion errors and complaints that I then spend hours looking for on Google, finally abandoning it.

Sorry, can't help you there, I'm not an Eclipse user. Maybe others have some knowledge there.
