btw: every decent un*x system has a logserver, reachable via port 514/UDP

It was more of an example. I was looking for a way to print some data on paper straight from the ESP.
I thought it would be easy to make.

Have a look at the Adafruit thermal printer.

Keep us posted, this could be handy for various projects..
