Has anyone else needed to test an ESP-12 module without soldering it onto a breakout board? What about programming an ESP-14 before it gets soldered into its final working place? If you just want to plug in one of these ESP modules to be able to access it, you need to find a suitable adapter.
I couldn't, so I made my own using a 3D printer and 22 short lengths of wire, plus glue and solder. Have a look at https://hackaday.io/project/18979-esp-12-and-esp-14-adapter-to-dil for more details. Any constructive suggestions for improvement are more than welcome.
