Hello!

I've just received my first MAX7219 modules, and I thought this would be a great starting point.

The OP has written this on V3.0 alpha 8, and I am currently using 3.0.Alpha 69.

I just cant seem to get this to work, Not only is the display blank, the browser messages dont show up either. Running in the debug mode gives an error "Error at line 3: Failed to reach end of input expression, likely malformed input"

Has something relevant changed between Alpha 8 and 69?

I tried removing the 'Let' commands, but that did not help.

Any help would be appreciated, guys!

Okay, some progress.

deleting the spaces before and after the "=" in the assignments makes the code work flawlessly.

No sign of life on the LED module, though.

Thats when I noticed my module, although it looks identicsl to the one used in the project, uses a TM1637, NOT a MAX7219.

And this thread gives more insight on why the display does not work.

Too bad..
