Obviously, the whole point is to be able to program in basic, which i appreciate a lot because i dont know much about C and do know a bit about basic. But it would be beneficial to be able to program with features that aren't included yet in basic.

Did You hear about PicoC ( https://github.com/zsaleeba/picoc ) for example?

- Tue Mar 22, 2016 11:05 am #43806 esp8266 basic is compiled with arduino software. So it seems it wouldn't be a big deal to be able use arduino code.
