Ota will not work on 1 megabyte moduels. The spiffs flile system takes up the other half of the space and there is no place to put the new firmware teperaraly while it is downloaded.

Basic is 487kb so 1MB = 1024kb last I knew so I figured just maybe it would work less than half I figured so I kept it on the server. I was aware of the 1/2 thing but there I wonder which size flashes are supported I know 4MB works for sure but dunno about others... Removed 1MB folder
Will 2MB flash still work?

version 3.0a42 that fixes array's not allowing uppercase letters has been uploaded those of you using arrays or planning on using arrays may want to upgrade.
