Your suggestion is nice, but I'm not sure the site's admins are very active at the moment.
I notice this by the way posts by new members are sometimes held back for a couple of days (because they need to be approved by a mod first).
As a result, they don't show up as new posts and get lost, unanswered, pretty fast in time.
