The ESP12F mentioned earlier has started showing up on aliexpress
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Free-Shi ... 6,201409_3
Unfortunately I can find any more info on it on the AI Thinker site but I assume it will be a drop in replacement for the 12E

HELP!!!
I have been working on my ESP for over a week now and still can't get it to work. I am connecting the ESP as follows:
GND - GND
VCC - 3.3V
CH_PD - 3.3V
GPIO0 - DTR
RX - TX
TX - RX
GPIO2 - None
RST - None

Connecting that via port5 to my computer USB and trying to run via the Arduino ISP. When I enter AT I too get the "non genuine device found". I am using 1.6.5 Arduino and have added the http://arduino.esp8266.com/stable/packa ... index.json URL in preferences. No luck though. Why am I getting this erro?

prob because u are using a chinese FTDI clone, try using and original FTDI chip or CH340 to prgram it.

Hi,

i'd like to know where you got the Altium Designer 3D screenshot of the module? Is the ESP-12E open source? I've been looking for it.

Thanks,
Ben.
