#49951 I have several WeMos D1 Mini devices with various add-on sensors/shields and having initially programmed them manually, I have now migrated to ESPEasy most of my ESP8266 devices used in my home automation system (based loosely around Pimatic/Mosquitto MQTT on a Raspberry Pi and Energenie RF sockets).

ESPEasy

Just flash the 4096 sized firmware image to the ESP whilst connected via micro USB to your PC and then connect to the ESP_0 wireless network that the ESP hosts afterwards. I've got various sensors, relays and display screens connected together via ESPEasy - communicating via MQTT to Pimatic and via HTTP to Thingspeak.
