https://github.com/esp8266/Arduino and read "Using git version"...

Upon examining I found Implement Serial Rx Buffer # 2239
so I extracted the four files HardwareSerial.cpp, HardwareSerial.h, uart.c, uart.h
an put into my core~~ folder. The sketch will now compile, however I have not tested the execution yet....

Drum roll, seems to work... or at least for now till I can test large packets... its not broken.... :-)
