Can you elaborate about this - hardware wise.
i am struggling to connect mega serial tx1 rx 1 to esp8266 thing for simple programming purpose , and just wif gateaway through AT commands.

it seems power and tx rx connections are not sufficient to get the thing 8266 responding.(more than just a red led thats steadily on)
