#8864 When the WPA encryption is used, each link has its own session key so no one with the key can eavesdrop and see the traffic from the AP to another station. So with a password, each packet going between nodes must go through the AP in order to be decrypted with one key and re-encrypted with the other.

#8874 But that's still on different layer, right? Anyways, quick tests showed that using WPA2 did not change anything and using 32 bit mask was problematic for my laptop - it did not want to accept the address, for some reason. But maybe I did something wrong.
