Here is an example of an attack via USB port using ESP8266.
http://hackaday.com/2016/08/17/universal-serial-abuse/In this case the small size of ESP8266 allowed the wifi connection to the target to be concealed in a standard USB thumb drive package.

I think if u make the esp8266 into a AP Cloner,Deauther and a Phishing page you can hack wifi passwords with a ease. Im thinking to start a project like this with the name WiFi-EsPhisher.
