#66996 @cardmaker: I have to be honoust that I haven't got a clue of what could be wrong. :?
Are you using an ESP-01 (by the looks of your first posts and the log it appears to be) or another model?

Maybe it's a good idea to buy a couple of others (and other models, like the ESP-12 or even a actual development board) to rule out issues with your current board.

[UPDATE]
Other things you can try:
  • Enter AT+RESTORE: this will restore your ESP to its default settings
  • Enter AT+CWLAPOPT=1,127: this will set all options to show in the AT+CWLAP command
  • Search the forums of Espressif for similar topics

#67040 I searched my ESP-module collection and found an older (brand new) ESP-01 (I also have the S-version with optimized PCB layout).
I plugged it into my bread board and it did exactly was it is supposed to do:

Booting @74880 baud directly after reset:
Code: Select all ets Jan  8 2013,rst cause:2, boot mode:(3,6)

load 0x40100000, len 1396, room 16
tail 4
chksum 0x89
load 0x3ffe8000, len 776, room 4
tail 4
chksum 0xe8
load 0x3ffe8308, len 540, room 4
tail 8
chksum 0xc0
csum 0xc0

2nd boot version : 1.4(b1)
  SPI Speed      : 40MHz
  SPI Mode       : DIO
SPI Flash Size & Map: 8Mbit(512KB+512KB)
jump to run user1 @ 1000

Then it boots further @115200 baud
Code: Select all▒l`▒n't use rtc mem data

I haven't updated it to the latest version yet; maybe you should try an older firmware version instead.

[UPDATE]
After having another look at the ESP-matrix, it looks like the ESP-01 can have different size flash memory installed.
Both of my ESP-01's have 8Mbit, while normally it's only 4Mbit in size; perhaps yours are only 4Mbit (though that doesn't explain why you don't have checksum errors at boot). :?
