#74477 According to published information, these ESP8266 modules are not RED compliant and only has the older R&TTE compliance, with exception to ESP-WROOM-02 and ESP-WROOM-32.

This means that unfortunately, the more common ESP8266 modules that currently flood the market, such as ESP-12-E and ESP-12-F, are not compliant for use in the EU and other countries in the world that required RED compliance such as Australia. This means no DoC can be provided either.

Some information is also provided here http://www.electrodragon.com/w/ESP_Certificate

Would welcome anyone that can provide details that challenge these findings.
