#22872 It's got a connectors for the module and an FTDI friend, buttons for program and reset, a 3.3v regulator, and easy-access power & GPIO pins (both male and female)

#22885 Congrats!! It looks good. I'd like to see the schematic on the instructions page as well as the Fritzing diagram. The mounting of the ESP8266-01 ... personally I'd suggest this kind of socket:

as it would make the separation of the copper strips easier. For cutting the tracks, I find this instructables invaluable:
